Who knew that a "safe space" would be created when a group of phenomenal women with differing personalities, diverse backgrounds, various income ranges and a variety of occupations gathered to celebrate a birthday that turned into a day of inspiration and uplifting. This celebration allowed women to embrace their flaws and highlight their positives while encouraging them onto next steps with a "we are all in this together" mentality.
Since that celebration, these women have become more cultivated and inspired to advocate for themselves (and others) in every aspect of their lives. Safe spaces were carved out to advance themselves spiritually, mentally and physically, while embracing others as mentors, which led to creating The Women Of Wisdom (W.O.W).
W.O.W is a platform intended to help celebrate, nurture, guide and hold each other accountable in a positive way. It is not interested in forcing everyone to be like-minded, but like-hearted. This group is designed to help you grow by tapping into your inner self to become a change maker, risk taker or social shaker! If you don't fall into the criteria of qualifying for other groups, this one is for you, especially if your heart tells you that you're ready to accept what W.O.W has to offer.
Whether you come to W.O.W through connections or not, we help foster, build and strengthen relationships and share common challenges as we become a knowledge-sharing think tank. W.O.W aims to have accountability partners for all areas of life, that you choose and trust to be vulnerable with, while giving back to our communities.

A native Washingtonian with deep roots in North Carolina, Jobina isn't new to bringing women together. During childhood, 5 women (including Jobina's mother) helped their daughters form a socializing group of young girls from all quadrants of DC and Southern, MD called the "Cutie Pies Club." With By Laws, a Constitution and President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasury roles, the girls learned everyday life lessons and developed skills to overcome obstacles, while becoming social activists.
Like all women, Jobina has grown through tough times in life by having good female friends build her up and help reinforce the beauty in her unique gifts of wisdom, truth and compassion. With these life experiences, and her time as President of the Cutie Pies Club, Jobina has long understood the need for environments where women can connect, learn and grow from one another. Jobina has worked for Members of the United States Congress and currently works for District 4 of the Prince George's County Council as Director of Policy & Communications. She is the proud mother of an upcoming scholar and Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She helped create the Women Of Wisdom (W.O.W) as a safe space for women to release the weight of "being everything to everybody" without judgment, while also building friendships, networking and healing.

She lived by the promise to "be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, responsible and respectful... and be a sister to every Girl Scout." This mentality helped develop her leadership skills among neighborhood children. Christina created and became President of a neighborhood "Club" where kids gathered underneath her back porch to study and come up with fun stuff to do throughout NW DC, while being safe and staying out of trouble.
As a DV survivor, Christina has always been an advocate of women "finding their strength and living their best lives." As a Board Member of The Diva Movement Association, she worked towards empowering women and young girls to live Determined, Inspired, Victorious and Accomplished lives. Now she is the founder of CBG Consulting Services, a company specializing in strategic management that helps build and increase profits for small, women and minority-owned businesses. As a business manager and sister to many, she understands the power, influence and durability of having a strong village to build with and lean on. As a wife, mother and entrepreneur, she recognizes the benefit of connecting with sister-friends that feed, grow and sustain the mind, body and spirit. She helped create the Women Of Wisdom (W.O.W) as a way to connect and strengthen women to live their very best lives.
